Movete Boedo group presents candidates for San Lorenzo elections

The 'Movete Boedo' group presented its list of 20 candidates for the May elections at San Lorenzo and defined full audits, a creditors' contest, membership growth, and the reconstruction of professional football as its central axes, with the objective of ordering the club and restoring institutional normality. The group officially presented its representatives at a conference held in the City of Buenos Aires on April 9, where the presidential candidate, Manuel Agote, led the presentation along with the rest of the team and detailed the profiles that make up the proposal, as well as the management guidelines with which they will compete in the elections. Agote stated that the decision to participate responds to the 'commitment to the current situation of the Club' and maintained that they seek to offer 'a serious and responsible proposal, capable of responding to the crisis and addressing a profound change in the form of leadership'. In this sense, Agote raised the need to recover internal and external credibility, along with the restoration of normal institutional functioning. During the event, the space presented an alternative based on managerial renewal, with a team that aims to return order, predictability, and a clear direction. Additionally, the main aspects related to the economic and financial situation, as well as the role of the member in decision-making, were addressed. The candidate explained that the plan is structured in three pillars: full audits to determine the economic, institutional, and sporting state; a creditors' contest as a tool to order liabilities and transparent debts, which would allow for the recovery of management capacity; and the generation of genuine resources from the growth of the membership base, along with the valuation of the brand and the priority on the reconstruction of professional football. Finally, Agote assured that the list was formed 'putting San Lorenzo above any sectoral or personal interest' and emphasized that the space has a team prepared to assume the leadership of the club at this stage.
